Announcing our partnership with MamaPower

As a Smith College graduate and the founder of Stop the Shame Period, I am thrilled to announce our partnership with MamaPower. Founded by fellow Smithie Faithrose Daniel, MamaPower is a non-profit organization that empowers teenage and single mothers across Kenya by providing non-traditional education, vocational training, and essential resources, connecting mothers to customers, and enabling them to establish sustainable livelihoods.

Stop the Shame Period will collaborate with MamaPower on GreenFlow, a biodegradable pad-making workshop and microentrepreneurship training programme, along with a participatory documentary film exploring cultural approaches to menstruation globally.
