Stop the Shame Period aims to partner with additional organisations in the Global North and Global South that conduct education programmes in sexual and reproductive health and rights, with the aim of organising a Collaborative Filmmaking workshop at the end of each education programme. With Katherine’s assistance, the resulting footage will be edited by volunteer participant-filmmakers into a feature-length documentary that will serve as a qualitative measure of the sociocultural determinants of sexual and reproductive health and rights. Global screenings of the documentary, both virtual and in-person, will be organised by Stop the Shame Period using a pay-what-you-wish model. All funds generated by the documentary will be given to the organisations that helped to make it possible.
